There is a Northern Exposure Chat on IRC every Friday night from around 8pm Eastern Time (USA) until ???  To access the chat, you need a program like mIRC (free at http://www.mirc.com) and configure it to connect to:

	port 6667 or 6666
	server irc.aimnet.com OR irc.funet.fi
	channel or room "#thebrick" (without the quotes).

If you're using Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Chat is also very easy to download and use.  If you're using Windows98, just click "Windows Update" on your start menu and then select Microsoft Chat on the download list.  You can also click here to go directly to the Microsoft Chat 2.5 download page.  Then start the Microsoft Chat program, select IRC net and enter "#thebrick" (without the quotes) as the chat room and you're off and running!

Another method of reaching the IRC chat is by using one of several "stealth.net" websites to get to the room.  Here are a couple links to try - just enter "#thebrick" (without the quotes) as the chat room where required and in a few seconds, you should be in the IRC chat.
