Well, well, well...

117 emails awaiting my return and sifting through them is proving to be quite a sad little undertaking! I miss you guys! but on another note--WE FREAKING DID IT!!!!

I'm so stoked! As chuck was speaking on Saturday night I found myself sitting on a table at the back of tranquility base looking around the room at all of you, my friends. and I'll be darned if "I couldn't see too good, I had tears in my eyes..." because I was so proud that we actually did it! we pulled it off! We threw a fan-run festival which benefited Roslyn, was a blast to be at and provided drinks at a banquet!

I'm so proud! I have so many ideas on things to do next year that I can hardly contain myself! Can you say outdoor film fest? In the park? Yeah, at any rate...

Thank you so much to everyone who pitched in and "did what needed to be done" (heavens, they're tasty for all you Prairie Home Companion fans) from staffing the check-in booth to breaking down the tables and chairs on Sunday to simply sharing yourselves and your smiles with the group -- thank you all so much for everything each one of you did to make moosedays 99 the collective effort it was!

$6000...not too shabby people! But we can do better next year, are you with me!? (*)
